Wilson Chin, candidate for Eastern Region Board Member Representative:

In my 15 years as a proud member of our Union, I have designed hundreds of productions on and off Broadway, LORT theatres, Opera, and Motion Picture, and served as an assistant and associate designer on multiple Broadway production and as an assistant art director for television. I have successfully navigated my way across the country on every level, so I bring a wealth of knowledge on how our industry works and how it can be better, especially during this pivotal time of crisis for our industry and country.                                                        

I have served on off-Broadway and LORT contract committees, and the USA Diversity committee. I am a steward of the 829 Designers Facebook Group, and a member of the Wingspace Design Collective. I have proven to work successfully with fellow Union members to make positive change and foster community in our industry.

I will not be afraid to amplify and advocate for BIPOC and all-gender representation. I will always fight for better wages, transparency, accountability, accessibility and a more equitable, just, anti-racist and safe workplace for everyone. I will never stop listening, learning and fighting for positive change.
